Yes that's correct. You submit your applications in Sept. Applications are now sent to a centralized location, rather then to individual schools. I guess they want to monitor the demand for each school/zone. As far as I know Glenealy started interviews in late-Jan. We were interviewed in early Feb, and we got our acceptance letter just after CNY.

I think you should have finished the interview by now.
My boy was interviewed and in February. It takes around 0.5 hr.
Just as Rani has told me, my boy share-read a story with the teacher and a group of children, they discussed and answered questions about it. Then, they were asked to draw a picture of their family and talk about it. The teacher asked my boy the name of his family members. After that, they played together with toys. That is all about it.
We were informed before the Chinese New Year that my boy was admitted.
