Information sharing about ESF application

Hi,

I just applied for ESF for my 2004 born child.
I would like to share the information with anyone who also
applied for ESF Year 1. We can share the information such as
"receiving the application acknowldgement from ESF", "get the
interview invitation", "how was the interview", "waiting list progress" etc. Any information is OK. We use mailing list.
Anyone who want to join this mailing list, please give me PM.

I applied for my May 2004 born girl (oldest of 3). We're in Tai Tam so we're looking at Quarry Bay ESF. I am a little worried about the diversity, it still looked very very Asian to me; I heard it's better mixed at Bradbury, but no chance of getting in there I guess). She's currently enrolled at Sunshine House Tai Tam.

I guess it's easier to keep eachother updated on here so that non-posters (and/or people missing this thread) can also share their experiences.

Acknowlegement letter after Oct 10

Hi,

According to their web site, we will be getting the ackoledement letter for the application after Oct 10.
Why don't we share the information here? If you got the letter from ESF, please update here!!!

Does anyone have any idea what the waiting list/application rate is like for Year 1 and Year 2 at Quarry Bay School? I am interested in transferring my kids there.

Haven't heard anything yet. When I was at QBS early September they told me they had openings for Year 1 (some other parents were interested) but they'll try to fill everything up.
