What is a normal temperature for a 4 month old

Both my husband and I have flu and i think we passed it onto our 4 month old baby. He is coughing and has a low grade fever according to the dr (99.6 F). I am provided with medicine to bring his temperature down. But I need to know when I can stop giving him the medicine.

96.8 is normal body temp, just like for you....

it's 98.6, but my dr. said no need to give meds for anything under 100 (37.9)
