Momo, supposedly the new campus is open, as the secondary students started there this month, the primary kids will move in sometime in October.
I've asked a couple of local moms who have their kids in Victoria, and generally, they think that Victoria's standard is more lite weight vs local schools. They feel that Victoria does not put too much pressure on their kids. I've also talked to other local moms who have felt that Victoria is not that great of a school. The recurring theme I hear is that they are very "commercial" "money oriented" etc., no mention of school standard.
I don't know the mix of local vs Int'l kids yet as I haven't toured the campus, but based on the fact that their Kindergarten are feeding the primary, I would assume that it's mostly local kids that go there.
How does it compare to CDNIS? That is a question I'd really like answered as well, as I am interested in both of them as well. Victoria is currently touting itself as the first through train IB school, but I believe Canadian is IB school also. However, based on most feedbacks I've heard/read on CDNIS, is that "you won't regret sending your kid there". . . so far I haven't heard that about Victoria Primary.
