Tutor Time Nursery School

I have been looking at some pre-school/nursery schools for my 2yo to attend part-time this fall. Tutor Time nursery program in Tai Tam appeals to me. I wondered if anyone has any opinions on this school. We live in Parkview so my son would be riding the bus service offered. Have your kids attended? What do you like/dislike? Any other schools on the Southside that people are particularly fond of? (btw I have already looked into PIPS on-site here at Parkview and we are just not wanting to spend that kind of money and they do not have a part-time schedule)

Hi. I started my son at age 2 in Tutor Time nursery in Tai Tam. He went 3 days a weeks for a period of 6 months and will be moving into the "Prepper" class in the Fall. I honestly have no real complaints with his teachers, the admin staff or the curriculum. For the most part, everything is well run. They are also very flexible in allowing part time and bringing kids in from as early as 2 years (so it's not a playgroup). I found my son benefitted from the program, learned structure and respect while having lots of fun and gaining excellent exposure to Mandarin. He never complained about going to school.

My son rode the bus - I accompanied him until near the end when I felt he was ready to go alone. Some of the kids on the bus can be rowdy or tempermental, and bus mums are not always equipped to handle tantrums (some are better than others).

It seems the school was always willing to listen and make improvements. Indeed, I know they are making renovations to some of their facilities over the summer which is great news. I only wish the city would do something to contain the traffic around the Red Hill campus since there are several schools in one setting, and it can get congested.

Thank you for your response! I did wonder about the bus since my son will be so young. So you ride the bus with him to school and then what do you do, just hang around until school is out and then ride back or do they bring you back? I just wonder because I dont have a helper and I was actually looking forward to school time so I could get some chores done and maybe actually go to the gym or something.
