just thought i'd update you guys on this problem.
after delivery on feb 6, my hips almost instantly started to feel better. i was in a wheelchair for the last 4 months of pregnancy because in addition to my hips, my lower back started to really bother me.
they took an x-ray the day after i gave birth. today i had a follow-up with orthopedics. they told me the x-ray DID show a problem with my hips. it was exactly what i'd been describing to the drs the entire time. the ball was not in the socket properly and because of this my body was trying to compensate causing problems with my back.
the good news is, i WASN'T DREAMING it! i think that the drs thought i was exaggerating the pain and the problem. also, for now, they think that the problem is getting better and won't need surgery.
