Summer Activities

King baby,

I've been looking for a rugby class for my girl too. Multi-sport and playsport, as well as ESF, don't seem to have any classes available for summer. Can you tell me where I can sign her up? Thanks.

We did the ESF sports camp during Easter and my boy enjoyed it. Not sure what to do for summer either. Everything I've seen is $2000/week and you're right it does get expensive.

[i would ahve also loved to do faust for one week but cost has become an issue, and cricket too at HKCC......just the above already totals to about $6000 for a month!

what about u? how many weeks do u plan to enrol for which cousre? and u have 2 boys![/QUOTE]

We actually have 1 boy, 1 girl, and ended up doing a week or two of almost everything on the list. Except the art programs- my daughter is gifted at art naturally, but refuses to take a class or do anything structured around it!
Yes, very expensive- but I guilt myself into it- if I wasn't working, making money, I could stay at home and spend time instead of money... but I do work, so I'll spend the money!

THE hk RUGBY OFFERS A REALLY GREAT DEAL OF $300 ONLY FOR 12 SESSIONS!! THE HAPPY VALLEY ONE IS FULLY ALREADY BUT U COULD TRY FOR ABERDEEN

Anyone know a good drama place for a 4yr old? We looked at Faust too but far too expensive. She's pretty good at role play etc, so could probably be with older kids.

Hey all,

Great information gathering!

Also check out Dragonfly. They are similar to Treasure Island but offer other activities besides surfing; orienteering, biking, kayaking, beach games. Also for older kids abseiling and junk boats trips. I think they are just day trips so for younger kids that dont want to be away overnight. Its ideal.

I called them and they are still ofering discounts at the moment. website is Dragonfly > Setting the Pace in the Great Outdoors!
