I am currently doing some homework for potentially a 2 month stay in Hong Kong.
Our family has an apartment in DB and was planning to spend 2 months in Hong Kong (July/August 2012).
The primary reason for the stay is to provide some immersion of Cantonese and Mandarin to our children.
Background:
I was born in HK and immigrated to Canada when I was very young. My cantonese is OK but don't speak it at home and feel that I would be a bad teacher. My wife is of Korean decent. At home in Canada, they are predominantly speaking English and learning Korean through mom.
My wife and I are investigating options that provide an immersed environment so that they can learn some Cantonese and Mandarin.
Are there any summer language programs available for children our age around DB?
Can somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
