Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Small World Christian Kindy in Mid-levels? Good reviews or otherwise are appreciated.

I live in Pokfulam and wonder if it is a hard school to get to?

Are there any other Christian kindys I can consider?

Many thanks!:)

hello
all four of my children have gone through (or are currently attending) small world.

my husband and i have been extremely pleased with the school. the curriculum is fantastic - fun mandarin lessons a couple of times a week, daily playground visits, and large high ceilinged classrooms. class sizes are small and there are two teachers per class.

the Biblical teaching they learn is sweet, and practical too. they have weekly Bible verses that they practise in class. i remember one fellow small world mum telling me how she was in her
car, with her son in the back seat. another car was trying to merge illegally, and she said, "oh, i am not giving an inch!" and her son responded, "but Mum! God loves a cheerful giver!"

we also live in pokfulam and while it all depends on what time you leave your home, if we leave at around 8.10, we are there by 8.35.

i have heard there is another Christian kindergarten in sai kung that is very well thought of.

if you have a child that is eligible to begin in september, you might want to call gail this week and arrange a school tour. 2525-0922.

hope this helps

What age to start?

Thank you so much. They really appeal to me. Can you tell me the earliest age they accept children? I am not sure if it is different here in HK to Oz.

i believe 2yrs10months and the child needs to be toilet trained.

small world is a fantastic school. our kids have been so happy there.
