school recommendation for 3.5 year old around HKUST

Hi all,

we'll be moving to HK in June 2009 from the US. I would like to enroll my son (who will be 3.5 years) to a good school around HKUST. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi. Your closest options for the Clear Water Bay area are Abacus, http://www.esf.org.hk/, which is part of the English Schools Foundation (ESF) and Sai Kung International Pre-school, http://hkppa.org/sai-kung/sai-kung-international-pre-school.

I also understand that there is a pre-school on site of HKUST for staff children. I think it is called Busy Bees.

You will need to get your application in during September 2008 for entry in 2009, particiularly for Abacus.

There is also a new kinde opening in Silverstrand but it is still under construction so I can't tell you much about it.
