Recently moved to Hong Kong from Australia...looking to socialize with other families :)

Hi everyone. We have recently moved to Hong Kong from Australia and are looking to socialize with other families. Our boys are 9 and 5 and are starting school next month. Would really love to chat/catch up with others. :)

Hi oze_kid, we are at Tsing Yi at the moment, lovely place but unfortunately not many families, and very few people who speak English. the only people who really speak to us are the security guards as they love the kids :)

Whereabouts in Tsing Yi? I have 2 sons who are 8 and 6 and also live in Tsing Yi.

Hi Ringakin, we're at the villa esplanada, on the MTR, whereabouts are you? Our two boys are 6 this month and 9. Would be great to catch up....coffeee :)

Thank you for your reply carms1:), my boys are 11 and 13 years and I am applying AISHK for 2012 entry. Maybe will look other ESF schools but don't know which one to apply as most of them may have long waiting list...... will keep searching.

Hi Southbank, we were interested in the AISHK also, but decided in the end with THS. Much smaller class numbers but at the moment only go up to year 7 I think...
We are from Melbourne also :) When do you arrive? We are going back next month for a quick visit and catch up with family and friends...looking forward to it lol. Good luck and keep in touch :)
 
Great you are coming back to Melbourne! I plan to arrive the end of January 2012 as school starts in Feb - hopefully can hear good news from AISHK in the next few weeks. The reason I applied AISHK is smooth transit for my boys/before they adopt the HK lifestyle and learning style :-) Do keep in touch
