Prenatal yoga?

Hi All,

I've found snippets of info about various prenatal fitness classes, but some of the threads are a little outdated, so thought I'd just start a new thread.

Who do you recommend for prental yoga? Where, when what prices? I've heard a lot about Pure, but when I looked at the website, all I could see was 'prental fitness' and only twice a week at the Soho location. I'm after weekdays, daytime. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Hi Sarah+

I am doing my first class today at anahata yoga in central. www.anahatayoga.com.hk. I will let you know what I think. The class today is free as a trial. So far they have been helpful and quick to reply to my queries, but we'll see how the class is.
I think they only have 2 prenatal classes a week though.

I go to Anahata as well for prenatal yoga and really enjoy it. The teachers are great about modifying the other classes for the pregnant ladies so I also recommend their Therapy, Back Care and Hatha classes (just let them know that you are, of course). Hope this helps!

I go to Yoga Limbs also and really like it as I think the teacher is fantastic. The classes are also very reasonably priced and at a convenient time for me as I am working. They have classes Wed night from 6:45-7:45pm and Saturday afternoon from 1:30-2:30pm.

Hi Sarah+

I was happy with my yoga class at Anahata yoga and ended up purchasing a month by month package. They were really great.

I went to Yoga Central, Wyndham Street. Really enjoyed it and Ingrid, the tutor, tailored exercises to suit each individual's condition, eg, bad back, varicose veins, size of bump etc

I am a member of Pure Yoga but they have suspended my membership for first 12 weeks and will not let you do all the typpes of yoga when you are pregnant so best to speak with them first.

They will let you attend Prenatal yoga at any of their centres though which is good.
