Pre-school/kindergarten for 3 years old

Hi there

We are moving to Hong Kong in October with our 3 years old son (born Jan. 2007). and looking for a school for him.

We will be living in Midleves on Kennedy Road (Bamboo Grove), and trying to find a school for our son that is commutable from our apartment.

We looked at lots of schools and thought Woodland Harbourside is pretty nice but it is in Abadeen and he will need to take a school bus.

Does anyone know how long it will take on the bus to go to this school?

or does anyone know any English speaking schools near Bamboo Grove?

You may take at least half an hour to go to Aberdeen.

For the kindergarten nearby your place, you may consider Starters School, Small World or Citykids as they all within 10 mins of your place.

There are probably lots of local kindergartens around that area. 3 year old children learn languages extremely fast. My son was fluent in Cantonese after 3 months, so don't worry about the language environment. In fact you'll be equipping him/her to be able to live in HK society without any of the language barriers that most native English speakers have.

I agree with PP, small world is a great school and very convenient to Bamboo Grove.
