orange and tofu

My son has eaten tofu since he was approx. a year old.
I've tried giving him oranges since about then too, but he doesn't like them.....too acidic and citrusy I think.

I agree with bekyboo, they don't like orange at such young age cause it's acidic. But you could started trying with orange juice.
Tofu is fine.

i started to introduce orange to my baby since he's a year old by diluting the orange juice with water. he likes it much more than having it pure perhaps because of the less acidic taste.

i give him Jap tofu since 8-9 months.

Tofu - absolutely yes. Introduced it at around 9 months.
Oranges - not really. Orange juice in small quantities after a year heavily diluted.
HTH!

I gave my son tofu when he was about 1 year old.
Diluted organge juice when about 9 mths old.
I did not plan to give him organe but recently he grasped mine when I was eating. He enjoys it so much so I share a bit with him sometimes.

my baby loves the jap silken tofu and also the egg tofu. oranges we gave him when he was abt 8 mths but he developed a rash on his cheeks so we stopped. he does not seem to like the juice but loves the little mandarins esp if they are sweet
