Mums Due early Feb 17

Hi All,

Congratulations on your upcoming buddles! I am due my second baby in early Feb too. Date yet to be confirmed as have been in the UK for most of the summer. I had my first baby at the QM 15 months ago and had a great experience, so I will be sticking with them again, Would be good to get a whatsapp going. Hope you are all feeling well

Hi all,

Congratulations on the new bubbas.... Exciting times! We are expecting our second on 6th Feb 2016 in the public system. Our first was born in the UK and we moved to HK soon after (he was 10weeks).

I recently had my first initial appt at Tsan Yuk and I'm now really nervous as I do not understand how the process of care and the system works ( seemed I just waited 2 hrs to have a blood tes and that about it really) ...... I feel like it is so different to the UK so am a little confused. I have heard only good things about the public system and giving birth at QM so I am sure it's just understanding how it all works. Any advice from second mums who have given birth in public system would be much appreciated.

Just setting up a WhatsApp group so hopefully we can meet up soon and compare notes. Just to reassure you, HK is in the top 3 safest countries in the world to give birth x
