Move to Gold Coast - Baby Playdate & Meet up with mums

We are moving to Avignon, nearby Gold Coast in Aug 2012. I have 1 year old daugther and would love to join play date as well as meet up with other mums in the area.

Alternatively, if we could consider to set up play date and rotate the venue to each other apartment, I am also more than welcome. Thanks for me know

Ok, we've just moved and getting things set up at Avignon. Where would be a good place to meet up? I'm not really familiar with the surroundings yet... I'm very flexible with my time, as I'm staying at home with the kid and don't have any daily routines yet.
