meeting new people

hi I have been in Hk on and off for a few months, but I have not yet met anyone to share a coffee with or have a chat. I have a 15 year old daughter and I am a stay at home mum for the first time in many years. In the uk I worked as a learning mentor in a primary school and I'm missing the children. Does anyone know of any coffee mornings e.t.c that I can go to. I live on kowloon side, but I have lots of time to travel!! There must be some more like me somwhere.

I have moved here from Australia for almost a month now and am also a stay at home mum.
I notice that you are in Hung Hom where we were initially thinking of living, but due to the zoning of esf schools, we are currently in Kowloon Tong.
I have a 5 & 6 year old and have not met many mothers either, so if you like, I would be happy to meet for a coffee sometime. My son is at school in the afternoon so that leaves me a couple of hours.
