looking for a mandarin only or mostly mandarin kindergarten on the island. Is Kiangsu & Chekiang the only one?

I'm not aware of any others. There are plenty of cantonese, plenty of ones that call themselves bilingual or trilingual but AFAIK KCS is the only immersion Mandarin KG.

where did you send your kids Howard? Does anyone have any experience with Victoria Kindergarten?

For KG, my kids went to Lingnan; they came out of there (after K3) speaking fluent Cantonese and then went straight into KCS for Mandarin immersion.
Victoria : Visited them a few times. Nice south side campus and they do a more multi-lingual approach instead of immersion. I much preferred immersion as I find that when given multi-lingual choices, kids will take the lazy way out
