Looking for a viewcam - advice please?

[a mum]

I want to buy a viewcam so that I can capture videos of my son for a longer period of time instead of using my camera.

I know I want something that is light and easy to operate. But what are the things that I need to look for?
Any recommendations?
Where can I get a good deal?
