Legality of Homeschooling in HK

I have read old posts re homeschooling in HK. I am currently homeschooling my son who has Autism. He's enrolled in a curriculum from our home country but I may have to create my own curriculum as our curriculum requires our native language to be taught which is quite hard for me to teach to him as he will get confused with an extra language we hardly speak. I would like to know if I'm ok (legally) to homeschool my son here in HK. Are there support groups that I can find here?

I am not sure rather homeschooling is illegal in Hong Kong or not. You can contact Aoi Pui School, which is a school for Autism children. They probably can help you.

Hi, we HE here in HK, there's a lot of people, you're not on your own! Some people register with the EDB (we did) some don't. There's a Facebook group and a meetup group, feel free to PM me!
