Kellett Kowloon Bay

Just wondering if there are many expat families on here living in Clearwater Bay and have children who attend Kellett? We have a high possibility of being offered a position for my son starting Reception in August, and we are looking at places to live which have high expat population and not too bad commute. Clearwater Bay looks lovely, but are there many activities for kids and babies around? Also are there many parks or soft play options? Looking at silver strand area? Do most people join the country club? We will be new to HK and I'm hoping to meet other stay at home mums too. Any advice would be appreciated!

There are a number of Kellett families in Clearwater Bay / Sai Kung area. One of my daughter's classmates has just moved from HK Island to Clearwater Bay to be closer to school. You do need to go explore the areas and houses, and see whats available. About the Country Club, I don't think its that easy to join. The waitling lists are usually long and involve several million dollars if you buy a membership second hand. The Expat community in Sai Kung / Clearwater Bay has grown in the last couple of years and there are a lot more activities and classes for kids. There are also ECAs after school at Kellett.
