ISF accreditated for MYP

ISF is now officially a IB MYP school. It is expected that official DP status will be granted in Feb 2010.

There have been accusations in the past that ISF lies about the mother tongue dispute with IBO, and some of the ill-informed choose to believe that the mother tongue issue is just an excuse for failing to get IBO accreditation. They need only refer to Pre-Authorisaton Report issued by IBO recently (under the paragraph entitled "Recommendation - Standard A2") to see how wrong they are. I hope that those who have participated in names calling and false/wrong accusations making, and have now been proved to be wrong will at the very least have the decency to make an apology.

The first tick mark for the new principal. I'm sure he has a lot more to accomplish. He better not focus too much attention on the secondary school as has been the case so far.
He's already looking to hire a Deputy Principal to help him so he seems to have got in to spirit of the more principals the better ethos of ISF.

However, there are many established schools which are also accredited for the the same thing.

it remains to be seen how ISF executes its grand vision and how its graduates are compared academically to those from other schools.

I guess you are in the "too simple, sometimes naive" category. When was the last time you met a rumor maker who apologized for the rumor he or she made? All they can say is something like the comment above. It is all too easy for them to forgot what they have said, and to blame other people for their own faults.
