IS waiting list? When to apply?

My boy is just over a year old but I am already looking into the right school for him. From what I have gathered many of the top schools have a long waiting list so I suppose I should apply early. But when is the appropriate time to begin the school tours, submit the application forms and etc? I am currently considering CIS, SIS, and ISF.

Each school has different application rules. Some take applications from birth and some will not take them prior to a certain date. Some schools you can tour any time and some only have tours around one or two years before your child will enter the school. You need to check the website of each school that you are interested in to make sure you apply at the right time.
