HK primary/middle school survey

We will probably be moving to HK this spring. Would anyone care to share their opinions/experiences regarding any of the international primary and middle schools? Any feedback, positive or negative, about any of the schools, would be very appreciated. Thank you!

In the ESF system, you eldest will be in secondary school (age 11-12). In other international schools it will vary by what system they follow (German? French? Australian? Canadian? USA? Singapore? Japan?)

The Baby-Kingdom has a big forum about International and ESF schools - some of the posts are in Chinese, but a lot in English.

Really hard to discuss the merits and demerits of various schools because where you want to send them will depend on so many issues:
* location (if you live in Tuen Mun or Fanling, you won't likely want to send your kids to school on HK Island)

* how much $ you have to spend

* Are there school places available

If you want to follow the US system, there is HKIS or American Int'l School in Kowloon.

My son is at an ESF school and they have several schools across HK.

It really depends on where you stay and also your budget.
