i've been giving my LO water mixed with woodward's gripe water (alcohol-free) since he was 5 months old - doesn't help too much with teething pain but he is not colicky and his digestive system is pretty good!

he is nearly 18 months now and i am planning to add diluted juice with the water so he can change the taste.
