German vs English stream GSIS

Hi, my son is 23 mths and is half german and chinese. we were thinking to put him in the German stream at GSIS so that if we returned to Europe, he can fit in easily. we have been told by GSIS that they do not allow the kids to move fr German to English stream or vice versa. I am not sure that the German educational program is the right one but hubby is quite convinced.

has anyone had any experience with moving streams at GSIS or any thoughts on whether they had the same issues?
