Full time KG/nursery for 2 year old?

I am moving to HK in August with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We are currently searching for a full day nursery / kindergarten for our daughter, she will be 2 years old in june and she has been happily full time in swedish kindergarten for 7 months already.

Seems a bit difficult to find facility for 2 year old full time in an international school.

Tips / advice are welcome

Thanks in advance!

Hi
I think you'll find it hard to find as it's not done here in HK. Most people have helpers so their younger children are cared for at home and are not sent to day care or nursery as you might do in other countries when returning to the workforce after having kids.
At 2 years 8 months, children can attend nursery/kinder usually 5 mornings a weeks, which is normally around a three hour session. The child must be fully toilet trained and independent. Some of these children might do an afternoon session also, but normally not 5 days a week I've found.
There are a lot of options for when your child reaches this age, really depends on where you chose to reside.
International schools generally start at reception, which is the year they turn four (before September generally speaking). There are international kinders, look at woodlands, sunshine house as a starting point maybe? They are located throughout Hong Kong.

full day classes don't start till K3 which is around 5-6years old....before that it is only 3 hours schooling. normally people have helpers here, if you don't feel comfortable with that you can have them attend 2 schools one in the am and the other pm - just as long as they are not too far away from each other....
