Hi Mummies,

A friend just told me that Venture Studio is going to give out its shooting service for free (costs $2500)! Just need to upload a happy photo to the link:

Quick! Check it out! I am choosing the best one of mine.

they run this promotion every once and a while. it's not such a good deal in my opinion. the prices of their photos are outrageous...the least they could do is provide a free photo shoot!

Would agree that the prices are outrageous. Nothing remotely affordable. They should try having the pictures framed in China, rather than sending them half-way around the world. Maybe their prices would drop into the "silly" range.

Yes, beware the photographers and studios who offer you cheap (or free) studio/photo taking sessions; you end up paying an arm and a leg when you choose the photos you want to print with them and they usually won't give you an option to have digital copies of the photos or if they do it will come at a very high price!

i took my daughter to a local studio - brought 11 photos, they give you in a 4R photo album binded, and digital photos. photos good to enlarge and canvass yourself.

cost... just under HK$1,100!

the whole point is to have have memorable photos of your kids...dressed up or naturally... $1,100 is good for me... Venture is way too expensive and not worth it... they just take advantage of parents, thinking they pay for anything for their kids...

don't go! i had a coupon for $600 and ended up spending up to 8000! crazy - completely crazy! every picture costs something...and the picture frames are really really expensive! I got the cheapest thing - a photo album, which is not as nice as what my friends got (and for cheaper)...the pictures are not all that well taken either! Don't go!!!!!
