Export outlets for baby/kid's clothes

Don't know about Clarks... you can try Sogo in Causeway Bay. The lane that southside852 described has two shoe shops. We've bought shoes from them and they're not bad. I was able to get a pair of leather sandals for my son and it was no more than HK$150 (can't remember exact price).

There is a Clark's outlet in Citygate, Tung Chung - has a decent selection of children's shoes, markdowns are from 30% up to 70%.

Thanks .... will try my luck at Sogo then (dun think I'll have time to get to citygate)...

Sorry if this is a silly question but will the shops have "summer clothes" notwithstanding its Winter/Spring in Hong Kong at the moment?

There seem to a number of ways to get to Stanley market...could I ask which is the fastest and approx how long the bus ride takes?

There are lots of shops that do sell summer clothes for kids in Fa Yuen Street, they open from 10:30-11am. I go there to buy stuff for my kids. However, Stanley Mkt. is definitely a lot better for a wider selection mentioned from the previous posts. I don't go there often b/c it's too far for me.

Depending on where you will be coming from, there are a number of ways to get to Stanley:

New World First Bus
To/From Stanley Market: 65 (Terminus: Exchange Square)
To/From Stanley Prison: 63 (Terminus: North Point Ferry Pier)
To/From Stanley Fort: 14 (Terminus: Grand Promenade)
To/From Stanley Plaza: 66 (Terminus: Exchange Square)

Citybus
To/From Stanley Market: 973 (Terminus: Tsim Sha Tsui)
To/From Stanley Prison: 6 6A 6X and 260 (Terminus: Exchange Square); 73 (Terminus: Cyberport); 314 (Terminus: Siu Sai Wan Bus Station)

Minibus
Between Chai Wan MTR Station and Stanley Market: 16M or 16X
Between Aberdeen and Stanley Prison: 52
Between Causeway Bay and Stanley Prison: 40

Wow Buckeroo...thank you veri very much for the detailed instructions. I'll be staying on Hong Kong Island near central I think....so i should take either the CityBus or the NewWorld First Bus from the Exchange Square terminus?

E-mum....for Fa Yuen Street, should I get off at Prince Edward or Mongkok? Are the baby shops along the whole stretch of Fa Yuen Street or only up to the Argyle Street Junction? Any shops in particular you would rec? Sorry for all the questions but with a toddler in tow, hoping to zero in on the right shops...

:thanks
