The one in Tsing Yi is overly subscribed, especially in recent years. Initially, I applied Tsing Yi but I received a letter from them and was advised about transferring to WKS. After I replied the acceptance of transfer, I received an offer from WKS. I struggled and made a hard decision.

Anyway, my daughter will take school bus from Tsuen Wan. The school bus company said Tsuen Wan is the last stop of the route. I think the journey isn’t too long and it’s acceptable.

yes, the tsing yi one is ovely subscibed. My daughter will be in the toucan class in the am session.

Reg the bus, what time will the bus pick up from tsuen wan? We are in Fotan, and if you drive it take 6-7 min to reach the school, but the bus company told us the pick up time will be 7:35 am which is ridiculous. Just too early.

Unbelievable!!!! I just called the school bus company for the schedule. They refused my request suddenly. The school bus company just said there is no student needs their school bus service. I don’t think it’s the truth. I remembered there were many parents enquired the school bus service during the parent’s meeting. I think the school bus company is not willing to take the job.

Anyway, I emailed the school for help.

Would you accept the school bus service or send your daughter to school by yourself/maid?

actually, its just a 7-8 min drive from our place, so i think i would prefer to go and drop her myself rather than sending her for an hour long journey.
Also, the second problem is that they are not willing to pick up from inside the estate, as done by all the other schools. The pick up point is outside the estate which is again 10 min walk from our buildind (can be 15 min sometimes with a 3YO) which means we will have to leave home at 7:15am, whereas if i drive her to school, we can leave home at 8:15am and still be on time for school.

I can understand you situation and after a couple of conversations with the bus company, i could myself make out that they are not very easy to deal with and i might have some problems with them in the future as well.
So i am thinking of other options now.

Yes, “they are not very easy to deal with”. The lady seems unfriendly during the whole conversation.

I have to find another school for my daughter shortly.
