Is it really that bad at Kennedy?
I was trying to find the letter, but anyways either as acting or vice principal.

Amit - All I can say is talk to the parents at various schools. It is important that you talk to parents who treat the combination of academics and extra-curricular activities at the same level of importance as you do.

Sometimes parents are happy with extra curricular activities which leads to them being happy with the school. Sometimes parents are unhappy that the school is too academically focused, which leads to them being unhappy with the school.

This makes choosing a school a very personal choice and unfortunately for a lot of parents, they do not have the resources to figure out which school is really good for them and their kids and which is not.

If the new principal is joining Kennedy as a VP then I hope she is replacing the person I think needs replacing. Again, a step in the right direction I think. Best wishes to her.

FYI: From the report to the board.

We are advertising to replace the principal at Wu Kai Sha for the next school year. This
follows the successful appointment of the current principal as Vice Principal at Kennedy
School. Offers have been made to teachers for the few vacancies for 2012/13.
