ESF - Cat 1 or Cat 2?

I'm planning to send my boy to ESF kindies but not sure what category I'm in.
My husband and I are both from Hong Kong but we don't speak Chinese. Would ESF consider us as Cat 1 or Cat 2?
We live in mid-levels and wanna know if Hillside is the only option or could we apply other campuses as well?
It seems that ESF is a very difficult school to get into. Any suggestions on other International Schools?

If you don't speak Cantonese, and are unable to enter the local system then you should be Cat 1.

Hillside is the only ESF kindergarten on the island. As you're in Mid-Levels, would also look at Small World Kindergarten. It's a lovely school on Borrett Rd. And their Primary school Island Christian Academy is opening this year

you need to select on the form that you or the grandparents dont speak chinese to your kid and you will be put in cat one.
