ESF application for P1 is from Sept 1-30

I need to do the online applicaton for my son now for P1 2011. I am using my foreign address as home address since we are not moving to H.K. until next year. If I am able to provide school with a H.K. utility bill, ESF will activate my application and won't put it on hold, correct? I was reading something before that P1 students need to pay capital levy in 2011, is it still true?

Yes, have heard people do use a friend's address. But the utility bill does have to be in your name. Yes, you will need to pay the levy in 2011.

You're moving here in Jan/Feb 2011?

I don't think it will be a problem for your child to get into an ESF primary school for the August 2011 school year. I'm not sure if you own a place here and were going to send a utility bill from that residence, but if you were going to use a friend's residence and their utility bill, I really wouldn't risk it.

2006 born children are due this September for spaces next year. You may want to call them and ask.
