English medium schools, not ESF or Int'l schools

Hi!

My family will be moving to HK next month and I am desperately trying to get suitable school for my 5 year old boy. I realised that ESF are good English schools in HK but unfortunately they do cost quite a bit and with two children attending ESF in the near future is quite a burden financially expecially with the economic crisis at the moment.

Does anyone have any suggestions on good English medium schools which are cost efficient or even free?

Sorry to burst your bubble, places in English medium schools in HK are highly sought after so they all cost a bit and none of them are free.

In terms of English education, ESF may be as "cheap" as it gets. I'd like to know if there is a cheaper alternative (full time, primary, English taught) but I am not aware.

There are some DSS schools that are English medium or mixed medium that are less expensive than ESF.

Po Leung Kok Yuen Yuen Primary School in Tuen Mun. New primary school with a strong emphasis on English - about 3 years old??? Quite popular amongst the international local school going kids.

Thank you guys! I will definitely check out those schools. I have been doing some researches and asking around..and I think for a full English medium school, inside and outside the classroom, the best choice is still ESF schools, in terms of cost and quality. Well, hopefully, those schools that you guys have mentioned will be close enough...cheers!
