EFS Secondary schools

We are a British family currently posted to Chicago and have just found out we will be moving on to HK next Summer. My daughter is 15 and in Y11, final year of IGCSE's. From my early research the EFS schools seem the most likely option but not knowing HK at all, selecting which one is bit daunting. I understand it will all depend on where we choose to live but it's a bit of a chicken and egg situation - would really appreciate any thoughts or comments on schools and neighbourhoods?

Hi, we lived in Chicago for 4 years as well but are European. I can't really help you with secondary since that's still a few years away for us, but most (expat) children I know are going to SIS (South Island) and mostly live on the East / South Side of HK Island (Bradbury and QBS Primaries feed into SIS). There are also West Island (mostly Kennedy Primary) and Island (more Midlevels).

Thanks for the info. We're going to be very sorry to leave Chicago as it is a great city but excited to be going to HK. Have started to make contact with the EFS schools and one of those was South Island so thanks for the info.
