Due Date - Jan 2015

When I had really, really bad morning sickness, congee was the only thing I could keep down. It's great for a queasy stomach particularly if it has ginger in it. I hope you feel better soon.

jtalyor,

Sorry to hear but you need to ensure you have sufficient vitamin intake if you choose light meal while you could not have the fibre rich food like green leafy vegetable to avoid further stimulation of the intestine, maybe corn flakes with milk or oatmeal with dry fruit will help to soothe the situation, then pack the home food for lunch then when situation better, can eat take-away food. Marks & Spencer in Central has food that is safe to choose from and so as the chain store too, get well soon!

Hey Lesiley, thats great!! Are you considering a public hospital delivery or a private one? I am super confused about the two!! When are you due for the 12 week screening?

I will go for private as I am 100% covered by my maternity insurance, private seems more comfortable than public, that's what I heard from my friends. If you are covered by your insurance or financial situation is fine for you to go for private, why not? It's also an experience. You can check with other mothers on this forum who already been to private or public, see what their opinions about private or public, hope it can help you to make a decision finally.

I will go for my 12 weeks screening on 27th. Aug, even by that time I would only be 11w3d. What about you?

I'm due Feb 27, just had my 12 week scan and blood tests last Friday. This is my first pregnancy. Love this site and the wealth of information available as there is so much to learn. Looking forward to interacting rather than just lurking :)=
