I was talking to my parents in law who live in Canada (outside Toronto) and they mentioned to me about a guy (son of a family friend) who is now in his mid 30s. He was born with cystic fibrosis, but it is currently in remission and he is very healthy now and living a very normal happy wonderful life. He and his wife have two kids (age 12 and 10) and by all accounts they are a fantastic family - very happy and everyone is very healthy.
Just wanted to let you know. Best of luck and to you and your family. I am sure your little darling son will be absolutely fine, with loving parents like the ones he is lucky enough to have.
