CIS Reception and HKIS R1 interviews

I was wondering if any parents who have had kids interview for CIS Reception and HKIS R1 could share with me what happens at these interviews. How would you suggest I prepare my child for these interviews? Thanks!!

hi, i had my son do an assessment for CIS Reception about 2 years ago, wherein they just took aside into a play area like room and sent all parents out.....i think they made them draw something trying to figure out if the children understood simple instructions. It was quite relaxed and my son was comfortable. My son did not tell me what exactly happened nor did he pass the interview so sorry i cannot help u further...all the best with yrs.
