Ameda products are also rented and sold in HK via Homecare Medical www.homecare-medical.com, tel 2402 2188. They have a shop in Causeway Bay as well as Kowloon. Apparently the Lactoline model is the same as what is known in the US as the Ameda Purely Yours, and it costs $1380 to buy which I think is a bit cheaper than the equivalent Medela product (Pump in Style). They also rent hospital grade pumps.

I just purchased the Pump In Style Advaned. It is quite good.
It retails for $3900, but currently out of stock at Meridian.
I managed to find one at Bumps to Babes.

I saw the Avent ISIS duo, which is their new double electric at Mothercare ... can't remember the price, but am considering it for myself in January ... I do remember with my first attempts at pumping (a few years ago) that everybody reacts differently to different pumps ... i just couldn't get the medela to work for me that time, but the avent (single manual) worked like magic ...
