Can homeschoolers have a healthy social network?

hi guys, I would like to know if homeschooling can provide the socialization that the kids need? I heard that homeschooled kids are not essentially socially deprived, and I am interested in knowing how they develop a healthy sockal network. Thanks!

Hi, we've been home educating for three years but recently arrived here. The network here is really good; there's home school meet up group and also a meet up group for families on a waiting list. Our boy mainly meets people through activities, sports and at the playground. If you want to ask any questions I'd be happy to answer
