By when you need to pay deposit?

we got a waitlist for pre-reception as well. havent been able to speak to them to figure out where we are on the waitlist though.
 
Seems like there's a lot of candidates on the wait list. Since the due date for admissions acceptance has passed, has anyone been been able to get off the wait list with an offer?
 
The only thing I have ever heard from friends who were on their waiting lists is that nothing happened and the year after they were asked to pay the HK$2000 fee (that's how much it was, not sure about now) again if they wanted to stay on. Chances of getting in are very slim. A lot of other kids pass the interview and then all end up on the waiting list due to lack of space. My friend's daughter was accepted this year for the youngest group (non-Canadian, no debenture, no sibling priority, so very lucky).
 
Last year two of my friends were able to get off the wait list for Pre-reception. Both were non-Canadian, no debenture, no siblings, so it does happen!

Btw, if you're on the wait list, do you let you know where exactly you are on that list?
