Any reviews of Anfield Primary School in New Territories?

My son just got accepted to Anfield primary school (P1) in Tai Wai, NT. It's a very new school and obviously there aren't many reviews yet, but I want to see if anybody here has any experience with this school, as they require a $45,000 non-refundable confirmation fee in two weeks. We also applied to many other international schools such as Canadian and HKIS which won't get back to us by that time.

My impression from going to the campus is that the air is great, environment is quiet and the school in general seems well-run. No idea on the academics and teaching staff though. I do know their kindergartens in Kowloon Tong and Whampoa have pretty decent reputation.

Any insights or even second-hand reviews are welcome. Thanks.

Anfield is definitely growing in class size and will hopefully have reached Year 6 by 2015. The children seem very happy and engaged any time I visit the school. The Principal seems to have a great rapport with the students and as you tour the school with the Principal - all you can see is big smiley faces greeting the Principal. They all seem to be very much at ease in their surroundings. I would say that the mixture of nationalities is 50% local HK and 50% mixed nationalities. True to the tradition of so many schools in England, Anfield School incorporates the House system – all students belong to one of four ‘Houses’: Faith, Hope, Love and Charity.
