Anfield (Kowloon Tong) vs. ESF (Tsing Yi) vs. Montessori (DB)

My 2.5 year old son has offer for all three schools (only) and i cannot decide which one to go. I love the Montessori one the most, but it does not have any primary school affiliation and we all know how important that is in Hong Kong.

We live in Tung Chung, so all three requires a bit of traveling. My son is very active and curious, so i am not sure if we should get him a school that is higher in discipline or higher in freedom...

At 2.5 I would go with freedom. I remember my little one spending hours in the sandpit at Kindy. He loved it! Don't know much about Anfield, and not a fan of Montessori so would pick ESF. There's no guarantee you will be offered a ESF P1 place but you probably have a higher chance

The thing with Anfield is that it is more disciplined but with very caring teachers. It's based on a British system and from what i know, kindie students can basically graduate to their primary schools. At the moment they do not have secondary levels yet but is in the process of building it, so more or less it's a thorough school without the need to jump through hoops at each stage. It is not as well known as other schools but i have only heard good comments about Anfield so far.

Originally i applied a bit too late and so my son didn't get in (no interview necessary), but suddenly a spot opened up so it threw my original plan upside down... i'm very confused now...

It seems like you're leaning towards Anfield. It sounds great and am a big fan of National Curriculum. Good luck with your decision.
