Bradbury School ESF

Hello everyone! I am considering to apply for Bradbury.

Any comments on their academic? Some one said it is on the easy side.

Do you know which bookstore sell their textbooks?

THANKS!!

You may want to look into their curriculum in a little more detail before you apply. Bradbury, like other ESF schools, follow the PYP / IB curriculum. In general they don't use textbooks, it's inquiry driven and no text books are needed (although our school uses text books for Mandarin but nothing else). I don't think Bradbury is super academic and there are definitely more academic ESF schools, but many people I know do like Bradbury given that fact. The benefit of an inquiry based curriculum is that it depends on the child how deep the child can go. ESF caters for a wide range of abilities, so not all children will be able to acquire the same depth of knowledge during a unit, while others will. I suggest you look into the curriculum in a little more detail and see if that's what works for your and more importantly your child.
