Congratulations jollybean610 & trttrt,

Do you get an AM class or PM class?

Could you please tell us when is the deadline and how much is required to pay if you accept the offer?

Thanks Atomic. I got the pm class as I did not indicate my am preference. Deposits are 10720 covering first month Tutition.

We are in the PM class as well but are happy since both me and my kid are not early risers. Our dateline is 10th as well. Surprised to hear they scheduled cat 2 play visits earlier than cat 1. Wonder how that works.. :) my child didn't perform well during the play visit. Even though she knew everything and all the songs during circle time, she didnt want to mutter a single word. When teachers spoke to her, she went all quiet as well. This is despite her being extremely chatty and friendly with most strangers on the streets. Really panicked and thought we were out!! All the best to all others awaiting the letter.
Congrats jellybean610, maybe our kids will be in the same class!;)

Congrats to everyone who received an offer letter. We got our letter yesterday and unfortunately didn't get offered a place because Hillside reached their quota but my son is now on the waitlist. We are obviously one of the unlucky 40 people that they mentioned in the presentation. Very disappointing :( I'm now looking into other options but am curious to hear if anyone else got the same letter.

What do you mean by 40 people that they mentioned in the presentation?
In your invitation letter, did they mention anything about waiting list?
Are you cat 1 or cat 2?

Category 1 are English speaking children, is that right? If so, we are category 1. In the presentation we went to they said that they interview 220 children but they can only offer 180 places, which means that some people (due to their randomly allocated number) will be in the group that are the difference between 180 and 220 (around 40 people) and they will go onto a waiting list. (The figures I'm quoting are from memory so I may not be 100% accurate). He said that they then wait until people send their acceptances/declines back and if there if any places become available they are offered to the people on the waiting list. The higher up the list you are, the more chance of being offered a place. Hope that makes sense. He actually used the word "unlucky" when describing the people that would end up on that list. Lol!

I've spoken to other friends who went to the presentation and they got given this same information. I guess we were just unfortunately low on the list when they were allocating the random numbers. I have other friends who didn't even get an interview so we were fortunate to be given the opportunity in the first place. Anyway, what will be will be, I was just curious to hear from other people who may have been wait listed.
