good evening ,

i would like to explain my situation, soon i am going to bring over my wife and kids , i am pretty happy to be with then again,
the major problem my kids doenst really speak english and less mandarin, their age 11 and 12 years old. do you have any advise please ,they plan to come in 2 or 3 months from today, they are thai, and i havent any idea how to deal with the school . also another point i will be the only one to work with a tight budget around 40-45 k per month. ,later on, my wife also will start to work after she learn english ( 6 months tuition first).we all speak thai , i am the only one who can write and speak not that bad english.
could you please give me a direction , for school , if also for the kids its not too late to pick up the language, a school who can admit then, ( pirce not too expenjsive also,)
ps: i was thinking to live in discovery b and put the kids in tung chung ?? some peoples say the schools are not too expansive ??? anyway if any advice help all are welcome please.......

I agree with Rani that technically Delia is that kind of school. However with fees close to $100k a year (so $10k a month) PER child, this is obviously not an option with the mentioned budget. Most international schools will be hard to fit into this budget, with 2 children in secondary. I think your (only) option is to look at government (English medium) schools but I have no experience with those, nor do I know where they are.

Thanks ,really preach all your advise , I am looking for a government English school , I got a very small.budget , some people gave me some address also , right now I am with all the paper process first for.myself , dis.my transfer visa , need to wait about 4 weeks , then apply for the depended visa , then finally the I'd card , they need to register the school , just hope now that all will be fine and fast .thanks again .
Ps : need to think about the.location , discovery b , good for family or other location dunno yet.

Talk to the Education Department. They have a programme for non-Chinese speaking children to help them adjust to the local school system... and it's FREE. They can also give you advice on how to find a school for your children.
