How much is Prevnar shot in HK? Is this available in gov't clinics?

no it is not available at government clinics. my doc charges around 700-800 for the shot.

just in case you need another recommendation, my baby's paed. charges around 700-800 as well. Don't have the exact figure as she had two jabs for her 6-mth immunisation - prevnar + 6-in-1 - for total of 1500. He normally charges consultation (another $500) but didn't for this occasion as he said he made enough $ from the jabs! He also looked at my baby's eczema too. BTW, I was quite particular about jabs as some doctors simply can't give injections. I was most happy with this paed as he was fast and my baby didn't cry much - she cried louder when I offered her panadol later that night!?

Why don't you call his office and enquire? His name is Dr Richard Chiu 28107018. Room 1309 Melbourne Plaza in Central.
