Preschool with small class size

I went to their presentation last week. Going to be seriously expensive I think.
fyi -1:8 is not special in HK. These lists KGP 2012 give all the details of every REGISTERED KG in HK and shows their ratios.

The likes of GEO Education APPEARS TO BE one of those centers that takes advantage of a loophole in the pre primary legislation. They are not a registered KG or Child Care Center on the HKG list. They only offer short education sessions and not half day or whole day services and so do not have to meet the need - from this year - that all teachers must be qualified to a set standard and the manager must also be a degree holder. THEY MAY - all be so - I am just pointing out the loophole on regulations that some use and the fact that ( under their published name ) they are not on the licences list.

For parents looking for schools on the mid-levels, i suggest the best way is probably pay geo a visit. After reading your post toastandjam, I went to to check w them and Geo confirms to be licensed. I go w my son to their Jellybean classes and will be continuing through to their caterpillar classes where he'll begin picking up mandarin. I simply wish to find a school where my child can have heaps of fun in a trustworthy environment. All their teachers are native and I am confident that my child will build a strong language foundation allowing him to follow through to the esf curriculum. For a new school they have done an excellent job where teachers are very engaging and energetic during class. It makes me happy too watching my son enjoy his time w the teachers there.
