Montessori Primary School.......

Hi all,

New to this forum as we are frantically planning to move back to hk in Jan. DD is 5 and currently in Montessori Kinder in Australia (she's in her 2nd year of cycle 1), and the only montessori primary school i see is IMS, but to be honest their fee is too high for us to consider. So i was wondering what other montessori parents have done when moving to hk? DS was also enrolled and due to start cycle 1 next year, so I'm a bit lost as to what to do or where to start.

TIA.

oh that sounds really stressful. There is only IMS and it's a fantastic school. Is there any chance whoever is moving back for a job, can get an education allowance from the employer?

We think it's high but we also want the best education possible and we cut back on spending in other areas to balance. Primary Montessori is WAY different to Kindergarten and you really see all the stuff they learnt in kindergarten coming to good use in Primary.

Wishing you all the best with this difficult decision

DH runs his own business and my job doesn't have the option of having an allowance :( with two kids, it will be a huge cost for both to goto IMS. But I do believe Montessori is the best option for my kids, cause I can see DD benefiting from it already.

Will have to re-work our budget and see, and the debenture is not really helping the situation either........

Have heard Woodlands Pok Fu Lam is starting a new Montessori class in February. I believe its from 2.5-5yrs.
