Hi, Can anyone advise on what to expect for parents with child entering kindergarten in august? What's the orientation process like? How do we know when to buy uniform and such? We are hoping for a holiday during summer and would like to be sure we wont be missing out on any orientation programs. Have not received any circulars from esf yet.

ESF Primaries do an orientation / introduction day in June and most schools have a "soft" / staggered start in August. Pretty sure it will be something like that in Kindies as well. Just give them a call and check what's happening. I know our Primary's orientation is in June and that's where you apply for busses, order your uniforms, etc.

Hi, we are attending hillside. In fact, I rang up and they told me information would be sent out in the summer( after June?).
Hmmm, just wondering if it might be safe to book a flight out and return just before school starts.
Another kindy which we paid deposit to, before receiving confirmation on esf, sent us a letter in March and details on orientation and uniforms etc, thus we thought we might hear fr esf very soon but so far, nothing.

My daughter will finish ESF Wu Kai Sha in June ... do they wear the same uniform for all the ESF Kindergarten? Blue polo shirt and dark blue skort and long sleeves polo shirt and dark blue pants. She is on the larger side of size 28 and 32 she is 4.5 years old. If anyone don't mind buying used let me know by PM and I will keep you posted and email you some pictures and prices at the end of June.
